ABBA Mania

Hi Everyone,

Revisions are going nicely, but it’s hard to concentrate with ABBA songs weaving through my thoughts and my toes tapping along as I hum.

I’m ABBA’d out. On Friday, a group of wonderful friends wanted to celebrate the gorgeous Josie’s birthday and so, we went to see BABBA.

A fabulous cover group that had us dancing around the room and singing our lungs out.
My throat has been sore ever since.

Here’s the birthday girl, Josie, looking gorgeous in red. And the equally gorgeous Serena.

In this picture, we have Sarma on the left, then me, Margaret Midwood (who is working on a fabulous book requested by Harlequin Mills & Boon UK) and Margaret’s daughter Lisa (who I hope finds some free time to return to the MRWG).

There was great food and a scrumptious dessert – but I was too hungry to take photos. Sorry!

And then yesterday, I went to see “Mamma Mia” the movie and enjoyed myself thoroughly.

I would recommend both show and movie to everyone. Hey, I might go and see them both again soon.

Okay, back to the revisions…

Bye for now.

Oh BABBA was soooooooo much fun! And I'd been to see Mamma Mia on the Tuesday and already had all the songs running through my head. Yep, they're still there!

It was a great night and hope the lovely Josie had a fab night like we did!

Hugs

Yes, it was fun.

I'm sure Josie enjoyed herself. She was going crazy on the dance floor along with the rest of us.

Can you say "Dancing Queen?"

Hugs right back

What a hoot!
I was lucky to see Mamma Mia on stage, when it was on at Her Majesty's Theatre in Melbourne a couple of years ago. So much fun. A pure delight.
I'm glad you all had a great time and you're probably still tapping your toes.

Hi Ebony,

Yes, the toes are tapping and I'm still singing Abba tunes.

Probably also due to the fact I saw Mamma Mia for the second time yesterday with Serena and Margaret.

God, I love that movie!
